How do you successfully position a family business for future generations?

A succession of generations brings together different perspectives, experiences, and visions for the future. Understanding these distinct views, highlighting them, and aligning them in a shared direction was crucial. This approach allowed us to preserve the organization's core identity while paving the way for meaningful change.

Solution

To gain a deeper understanding of their customers, we immersed ourselves in the company's daily operations. Working alongside the founding family, we turned these insights into future scenarios, products, and initiatives. This served as a powerful tool to uncover new opportunities, shared values, and individual interests. The insights we gathered formed the foundation for a clear guiding vision and shaped key strategic decisions for the company’s future growth.

“What we received is far more than we could have expected: alongside new product ideas, a mission statement, and a clear vision for the future, something priceless was created – the tangible conviction of our children to carry on our family business.”
Elke Lütvogt
Managing Director, Lütvogt GmbH & Co. KG

We don't just use design to develop solutions, we use it to spark a reaction. It's only when ideas become tangible that we truly see what excites, what provokes, and what fits your business best.
