Agile furniture system for creative collaboration
In December 2022, SCOPE was honored with the prestigious Frame Award “Furniture of the Year”. The Frame Awards identify and recognize the world’s best interior and product projects.
To overcome the problems of our time and seize future opportunities, we can only succeed if we work together as a team. Collaboration is the most critical catalyst for modern, agile, and creative working environments. It demands the same values, promotes a sense of community, and is successful when each individual is constantly connected to the whole. So we asked ourselves: What should a collaboration space feel like?
Adaptable and empowering
Modular, flexible, adaptable, customizable, resilient, extremely durable, and puristic. The sum of all our observations and experiences led to a new typology of functional furniture: SCOPE. SCOPE wants to be pushed, turned, and changed. It wants to collaborate, engage, empower, and challenge as a supportive ecosystem.
SCOPE is scalable. It can grow, shrink, merge, and split up again, always adapted to the task at hand. Each module can be duplicated and combined with others. 60° fragments constantly form new patterns of harmonious constellations. Whether in workshops, team meetings, or individual work, its organic adaptability makes SCOPE an ideal partner with a lasting effect for achieving common goals.
Modular and flexible
The round table is the center, a nucleus that brings the various players together at eye level. It is a playground, plenum, and supplier. In its center is a removable tray for materials, multiple sockets or space to plant a tree. The primal human need for refuge and prospect finds its form in the mobile bench desk. It is both a seat and a high table that provides an overview for spontaneous meetings. Combined with itself, it forms room dividers, seating zones that shape the surroundings and room-in-room situations.

The transformation-wall is an ergonomically adjustable single or double table. With additional components it can be transformed into a mobile partition wall, monitor wall, shelf, blackboard, coat rack, or plant bar in no time at all.
All modules can be equipped with accessories and utensils. The modules can be dismantled into their parts, which can be replaced for easy repair or upgrading. The selected high-quality materials make them durable and fully recyclable. SCOPE is built to last.
The furniture system is currently being used in multi-purpose spaces, smaller offices and digital innovation labs. We are learning from users and their reactions to their individual module constellations to develop future applications. The feedback we have received reflects the positive psychological effect on which SCOPE is based: a naturally agile environment that makes it easy to develop new ideas.
The international FRAME expert jury evaluates submissions according to four criteria: innovation, functionality, creativity, and sustainability. The result is a future-oriented, human-centered, aesthetically pleasing, holistic, and environmentally friendly space and product experience.
